COVID-19 Travel Update for Vaccinated Travelers

Updated: Jul 19, 2021

According to the Hawaiian Tourism Authority, fully-vaccinated travelers no longer need to submit a negative COVID-19 test pre-travel as long as they and furnish vaccination records showing a vaccination delivered within the United States at least 14 full days prior to travel. Travelers not vaccinated must submit a negative COVID-19 test prior to travel or participate in a 10-day quarantine period.

Additionally, all COVID-19 travel restrictions for inter-island travelers are completely lifted. In other words, island residents can travel from island to island without vaccination records or negative test.

For more information and for international travel requirements, visit the Hawai‘i State Department of Health COVID-19 portal.
